Using the excel HR™ laser—the gold standard in medical-grade laser hair removal—we can permanently reduce unwanted hair from virtually any area of the body, no matter your skin type. Laser hair removal works by emitting a concentrated wavelength of laser energy, which is absorbed by the targeted pigment found in the hair follicle. The follicle is effectively destroyed, preventing future hair growth. Because hair grows in cycles, several treatment sessions are required for hair reduction. We ask that before treatment you shave only and avoid anything which would remove hair follicles such as tweezing and waxing.

Laser hair removal may feel like a pinprick or a snapping rubber band followed by a flush to the skin. excel HR™ cools the skin’s surface before, during and after each laser pulse to provide a comfortable and safer treatment experience.
The total number of treatments will vary based on the area treated. We typically recommend 4-5 treatments, 6-8 weeks apart.

You can immediately resume most daily activities. The skin may be slightly red immediately following the treatment, which can last a few minutes to several hours depending on the individual.
