How It Works:
At our practice in Victoria, BC, microdermabrasion is performed with the SilkPeel, which utilizes medical-grade diamond heads to exfoliate the outer layer of skin while infusing a solution to the skin. No crystals are used with this system. Skin-specific solutions include hydration for dry skin, clarifying for acne and brightening for pigmentation. We use the SilkPeel Dermalinfusion system and SkinScape™ Plus for our microdermabrasion patients. After the treatment, most patients are able to get back to their usual routine right away, although some may experience slight redness for a short time following their appointment.
