Dr. Tess Peters is a dual board-certified dermatologist, medical illustrator, and clinical instructor dedicated to both medical and aesthetic dermatology. With extensive training in Canada, the USA, and internationally, including pediatric dermatology, laser medicine, and cosmetic procedures, she combines science and artistry to deliver safe, effective, and transformative results. Committed to her patients and the advancement of dermatologic care, Dr. Peters brings precision, creativity, and compassion to every treatment.
Motivated by a strong desire to help others, she began medical school at Cummings School of Medicine in 2012. She was accepted into the highly competitive dermatology program at the University of Calgary, where she was chief resident. This intensive five-year program included training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Peters went on to do additional training with world experts in San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, and London. While at the prestigious Guy and St Thomas’s Hospitalin London, UK (formerly St. John’s Hospital), she participated in clinical trials where she studied genetic collagen disorders and rare skin diseases. After residency, she sought out fellowship training in pediatric dermatology, laser medicine, and aesthetics.
A love of Vancouver Island and a desire to be near family made Victoria a perfect place to begin practicing in 2018. She now practices with esteemed colleagues Drs. Mark Lupin and Carmel Anderson at Cosmedica.
