Laser Resurfacing
Benefits/How It Works
Moderate to deeper lines and sun damage can be addressed with the Ultrapulse Encore CO2 and Sciton Contour Erbium lasers. These lasers are suitable for a range of mild (Sciton micropeel or CO2 lite) to more assertive treatments. They can remove surface imperfections and dramatically reduce lines and wrinkles. They provide a comprehensive improvement to wrinkles and sun damaged skin rather than treating one wrinkle or sun spot at a time. The Fraxel laser is intended for fine lines, scars and irregular brown pigment.
The Ultrapulse CO2 and Sciton Erbium lasers remove thin layers of skin at a time while stimulating skin tightening through new collagen growth. The Fraxel leaves the skin intact while penetrating deeply as multiple microscopic pixels of infrared laser light lead to improvement of irregular texture and removal of unwanted brown pigmentation. Wrinkles soften and become less noticeable, some will disappear and the appearance of pigmented lesions will lessen.
