Skin Cancer Screenings - Dr. Lupin screens local MLA's and Ministers at Legislature on November 1st 2011

November 1st 2011 marks an unconventional meeting of BC politics and healthcare.  Dr. Lupin, joined by fellow dermatologist Dr. Patrick Kenny, participated in the annual skin cancer screening at BC's Legislature where local MLA's and Ministers, including the Minister of Health himself - Mike de Jong - were screened for pre-cancerous and cancerous lesions of the skin.

The Canadian Dermatology Association, in an effort to continue to raise awareness of the dangers of unprotected sun exposure, holds annual public screening sessions in various locations around the province.  This year in Victoria, patients lined up for hours at the University of Victoria's Clearhue Building for free screenings, family sun safety activities and prizes.
