Canadian Launch of Xeomin - Dr. Mark Lupin chairs Victoria, BC event

Maintaining a forward and forefront role in Canadian aesthetic medicine, Cosmedica’s Dr. Mark Lupin recently chaired the Victoria, BC launch of Merz Pharmaceutical’s Xeomin Cosmetic - a more purified type of botulinum toxin A than BOTOX® and of equal effect.
Health Canada approved for both cosmetic and therapeutic applications, Xeomin is now readily available throughout Canada. The national launch includes a multi-city tour aimed to educate physicians on the science, techniques and new applications for Xeomin Cosmetic.
International speaker, Dr. Katherine Goldie, gave the Victoria, BC audience an account of her European clinical experience with the product. Dr. Lupin, renown as an expert of neuromodulators and of advanced injection technique, spoke to the science reviewing the pivotal studies leading to Canadian approval in April 2012. In attendance were local physicians from Vancouver Island.

Liposonix® research study in Victoria, BC - Participants are needed for a research study utilizing a non-invasive high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device to eliminate fat and contour the waist.
Eligible participants must be male or female between the ages of 18 and 60 years, must be in good health and females must not be pregnant.
The study consists of one treatment and three additional follow-up visits which span approximately 3 months.

Cosmedica introduces UltraShape™ - a non-invasive treatment for reducing excess body fat
