Age, ethnicity, genetics, hormones, diet, medications and weight are all factors that affect the amount and type of hair that we develop. There are many ways to manage hair including depilatory creams, prescription creams, threading, waxing, plucking, and electrolysis. These methods are time consuming and other than electrolysis, do not have effective, lasting results.

Laser hair removal at our practice in Victoria, British Columbia treats actively growing hairs and, since hair grows in cycles, several treatments are novemally required for optimal results.  While both of our lasers are FDA cleared for permanent hair reduction, maintenance treatments are recommended.
